Quad Lock Joins The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride In 2023

We’re pleased to announce that we will be an official partner for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in 2023.

Held on 21st May, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) is a worldwide event for vintage and classic-styled riders and their motorcycles. Beginning in 2012, DGR has brought gentlefolk from around the world together with the joint goal of raising funds and awareness for men’s health. To date, the charity motorcycling event has raised $37.5M USD for prostate cancer and men’s mental health programs in the 10 years since its inception.

As part of DGR and Movember’s investment into men’s health, they collate information about the programs they fund since the partnership first began. If you’d like to know how the event has helped men around the world, check out the programs DGR has helped fund here: www.gentlemansride.com/about/programs-we-fund

Over that time, we have seen the event go from strength-to-strength and so we’re excited to now officially be on board as a partner. It only took these two Australian-founded yet-global brands 12 years to unite, and what better reason than to help support motorcyclists around the world who want to connect and ride safely for a good cause.

As the official global technical accessory partner, Quad Lock will more than ever be the go-to solution for all riders of the DGR.

"Quad Lock is a perfect brand to partner for the 2023 event," said Mark Hawwa, Founder of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. "Their innovative phone mounting solutions will allow our participants to keep their phones with them on their ride, and stay on-course during the event. Helping our riders safely map their way through each local ride, we believe this partnership will enhance the participant's experience during the ride and all year round."

DGR currently takes place in over 800 cities around the world, with over 120,000 gentlefolk riding together on the same day across 106 countries! Some of the major event locations expect to lead over 1,000 dapper riders throughout the city centre in a single day.

“We are honoured to be a part of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and support their mission to raise awareness and funds for men’s health,” said Andrew Poole, Quad Lock’s CEO.
“As an active participant in the motorcycle community for many years, we’ve seen The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride evolve into a unique and engaging event with funds raised supporting critical initiatives in the space of prostate cancer and men’s mental health. I know the Quad Lock team is incredibly excited to be an official partner in 2023.”

As a partner of the DGR, we look forward to building out our team of riders for the day and providing an exciting opportunity for these riders to win a unique experience. With DGR 2023’s launch date nearing, we have much more to come to help us celebrate this incredible partnership and build something that helps keep DGR riders on track and home safely after their ride.

While men's health issues are at the heart of the engine that drives The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, the event itself is open to all who wish to participate as distinguished gentlefolk. Folks who are dedicated to riding for the men in their lives and to raise well-needed funds and awareness to help them live longer lives. After all, men's health issues affect all men. We all have a gentleman in our lives that we want to go on a few more rides with.
