The New Google Pixel 7a Unpacked

The Google Pixel 7a is the latest addition to Google’s A-series, drawing inspiration from the previous year’s flagship device (except way more affordable). Let’s take a close look at the features of the Google Pixel 7a and why you should make the upgrade.

So, what’s new?

The Google Pixel 7a is packed with essential features found in Google’s premium phones, which are now included in the A-series device for the first time. These features include Face Unlock, 8GB RAM, up to 90Hz Smooth Display, and our favourite feature – wireless charging.

While the Pixel 7a starts at $499, which is $50 more than its predecessor, the Pixel 6a, the upgrades this new device offers could make it worth the investment.

Camera Upgrades

The Google Pixel 7a camera faces major upgrades this year as the main camera features a 72% larger sensor than its predecessor, enabling it to capture 44% more light. The phone also has an all-new 13-megapixel ultrawide lens in order to capture more in your photos. And for the first time ever, you’ll be able to capture 4K video with the upgraded 13-megapixel front camera – selfies and front camera videos will never look so good. Other upgrades include Long Exposure which can add texture and energy when photographing things in motion and Super Res Zoom allowing up to 8x zoom.
